If you had all the money in the world to build a gaming computer (although you wouldn't actually need that much compared to commercial gaming computers), what would you put into it?

CPU: AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8-Core 4.2GHz (£129 on amazon, possibly cheaper elsewhere).

RAM: Corsair Dominator Plantinum or G.Skill Ripjaws 4 (G.Skill is a lot cheaper and just as good, if not better, but I've only just recently heard about them) . Both of these manufacturers are (to my knowledge) the best in their market, designing their RAM specifically for gaming systems with built in heat sinks and RAM overclocking utilities.

Link: G.Skill claim to hold the fastest DDR4 speeds so far.

GPU isn't as competitive as CPU and RAM so I'll leave that out - but I would easily put AMD/ATI over Intel/Nvidia.

As for the case - I already have this waiting to be built on :) -

Coolermaster HAF 922. I love Coolermaster - they're a company that builds specifically for server/gaming environments with liquid cooling slots and space for about 3/4 fans.

I wanna know what other cool hardware is out there, so lemme know what you'd put into a build if you had the money :).

I don't really have an ideal build. As long as it runs everything it needs too, which mine does makes it ideal for me. I wouldn't mind a new monitor, CPU and graphics card but I'd need a new Mobo and I cba to change it all again
